 See the transformations the city of Annaba has undergone through the ages. Visit the archaeological site of Hippo Regius, an ancient Tyrian colony and residence of Numidian Kings. See the Basilica of St. Augustine, with a relic of his wrist bone inside. Explore the old city, including Sidi Abou Merouane, the oldest mosque in the region, built in 1033. Enjoy light snacks and a walk through ""Le Cours de la Révolution"" before returning.

 Tread the well-worn paths of Carthage, once the seat of the Carthaginian Empire, founded by the Phoenicians in 800 B.C. Discover legendary monuments like the Baths of Antonius Pius and the amphitheatre, tracing its history from Hannibal to the Romans. Then, drive to Sidi Bou Said with views over the Gulf of Tunis. Wander streets with white-washed walls, blue window grills and colourful doorways. Enjoy local crafts or mint tea before returning.

Start at the Bardo Museum, in a 19th-century Sultan's Palace showcasing Phoenician, Roman and Arab artefacts, including the world's largest Roman mosaic collection Explore Medina's bustling 7th-century alleys filled with crafts. Enjoy a Tunisian buffet lunch before exploring the Carthage Ruins, featuring Roman baths and Punic tombs. End in picturesque Sidi-Bou-Saïd overlooking the Bay of Tunis.
